                                                                                                         Ceremonies.

Abenaki Indians had a lot of ceremonies.

Some Shoshoni Indians prove how brave and strong they are to become a warrior. They cut their skin and put string through their skin. Then they were hung by their skin and string. But also being forced to look up into the sun until the rope breaks and they fall to the ground. Plus they are not aloud to cry or complain if they really want to become a warrior. The Abenaki Indians had ceremonies for harvesting special events in there lives and hunting and stuff like that and they say that ceremonies keep the world balanced.

Ceremonies were very important to the Native Americans.
